About me...

Hi, I'm Crystal, and this is a space dedicated to the messy, beautiful, and often complicated journey of fellowship, family, and friends. I believe that even when things feel broken, there is always a path forward.

For a long time, my life was defined by my struggles with anger and alcohol. My choices created distance and pain in my relationships, especially with my children. There came a point when everything broke, and I had to face the reality of the damage I had caused. That painful turning point led me to a new path of sobriety, therapy, and a quiet, daily commitment to healing. This blog is my way of taking accountability and sharing the lessons I've learned about rebuilding a life from the ground up.

Here, you will find real, honest conversations about what it means to rebuild relationships, find a sense of community when you feel like an outsider, and learn to forgive yourself and others. I'll share my experience with sobriety, the work I'm doing to reconnect with my family, and the little moments of hope that keeps me going.

When I am not writing, you can find me working at my full-time job, working on my family relationships, completing small craft projects gearing up for the holidays, learning to find peace in the quiet moments, and looking for ways to show up for the people I love. I'm a proud mom and a hopeful person, always looking for the good in people and in every day.

Welcome to my Journey!
